Defiance Continues Effort To Increase Pedestrian Traffic
Thursday, June 13, 2019

A plan to turn Defiance’s downtown alleys into pedestrian walkways is approved by city council. J&N Builders of Defiance landed the $25 thousand dollar contract for the improvements, which includes extending curbs and stamped concrete in four Clinton Street locations which will block traffic from entering the alleys.

The project is part of the city’s initiative in recent years to increase pedestrian walking opportunities in the downtown area.
