The Trine University Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Professor Mark Kays, chair of Trine's Music Department, will perform "A Salute to Stan Lee" featuring music from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lee, who died in November at age 95, helped create numerous superheroes at Marvel Comics, including Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, the Fantastic Four and Black Panther.
"A Salute to Stan Lee - The Marvel Universe" will include instrumental selections that highlight the popular Marvel movies such as "Black Panther", "Ant-Man", "The Avengers", "Captain America", and "Guardians of the Galaxy", while will include various hits from the 1960s and 1970s.
The concert is slated for February 24th and will take place in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. The concert begins at 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
