ANGOLA, IN - The Steuben County Soldier's Monument on Angola’s public square will be getting some attention.
The County Commissioners have arranged for maintenance to be done. The actual soldier figures on the monument will be removed in order to be repaired. For this to happen safely, traffic will be detoured around downtown on August 7th, from 6 am - 10 am. There will be an official detour in place for truck traffic. Local traffic will need to maneuver around the side streets.
The soldiers could be gone for as long as October.
