Angola Balloons Aloft happens today and tomorrow at Angola High School. This years event will have 30 competition Balloons and 4 special shape balloons.
Features of the annual event include tethered balloon rides.
Balloons Aloft is a family fun free event thanks to the local sponsorship. This year is the ten year anniversary.
So far the weather outlook for the weekend lends for a perfect setting for scheduled balloon flights. WLKI's Sheila McCrea went up Friday morning for the media flight.
Many faces of the WLKI family of radio stations will be out at the event including Andy St. John and Larry Russel.
