One Romantic Evening
The high school and middle school theatre programs at Prairie Heights are joining together for what they are calling “One Romantic Evening” February 15th, 16th, & 17th. The evening will feature three short one-act plays.
The first one-act will be “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet” presented by the middle school thespians. The content for this piece is best described as the style of Shakespeare being meshed with Dr. Seuss. This one-act is a whimsical reinvention of a classic, with a flare of comedic action and creative wordplay.
Following “The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet” will be a brief intermission. After the break, next will be “Check Please” by Johnathan Rand as presented by our high school thespians. This piece follows a series of blind dates that couldn’t possibly get any worse - until they do!
The high school actors will wrap up with “7 Ways to Say I Love You” by Adam Syzmkowicz. It is a collection of funny and sweet snippets which explore the heart, grief, pain, and humor of love.
Corrine Reed (email@example.com) is the high school theatre director. Chris Ellert (firstname.lastname@example.org) is the middle school theatre director.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $7 online at: http://phtheatre.booktix.com/
